Police are continuing to investigate a shooting Tuesday night in the 100 block of North 11th Street in Springfield. However, currently is no indication that this shooting is related to the homicide of Willie Evans that occurred earlier in the day just three blocks away,
When police responded to the call just after 10:30 pm, they found the 43-year-old female victim conscious and alert. The bullet wound, which was described as a graze to the forehead was not considered life threatening.
