The Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau Launches SPI 7 In 7 For A Fun Fall Competition

Well, COVID-19 may have canceled a lot of our regular fall events and activities. However, the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau still wants you to get out and have some fun.
The SPI 7 in 7 runs September 8 through October 27 and asks people to do different events around the city. You may need to take a walk through one of the cities many beautiful parks or even order the area’s signature food item- a horseshoe.
Marketing Director Amy Beadle told WICS, News Channel 20 events are designed to be pandemic proof. So should the Springfield area be required to move back from Phase 4, events can continue.
To participate, you will need to download the SPI 7 in 7 checklist, register and post pictures of yourself as you complete the various tasks on your Instagram or Facebook page using the hashtag SPI7in7
