After learning four staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 since September 1, the Riverton Board of Education met on Monday, September 14 and agreed to continue Enriched Remote Learning.
Under this plan, which will continue through the remainder of the first quarter, students may come into the school building for specific needs like tutoring or students who receive special education.
The first quarter ends on October 16. On October 12, the school board will decide on a plan for the second quarter.
The school has struggled to keep staff in place- averaging 20 staff member absences every day over the past week.
