So 27- year-old Randy Lee Cooper, was not having the best day. The police were chasing him and he was having a hard time eluding them.
Perhaps he shouldn't have stolen that Land Cruiser in the first place.
Things only got worse for him when he crashed into a Buick Regal. That car was driven by 25-year-old Kristin Nicole Begue and she was having an even worse day than Cooper. It turns out she was driving a car that was also stolen (it had been reported stolen three weeks prior to her little joy ride) AND she was under the influence.
For police, it was the jackpot! Mr Cooper is facing multiple charges including assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. And the lovely Ms Begue is facing charges driving under the influence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
And lest you think all this zaniness took place in Florida, where the idiot criminal is the state bird, this particular little tale comes to us from Oregon.
