When you think of gourmet food, you typically don't think of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. BUT- PB&J (which stands for Pizza, Beer, and Jukebox) in Chicago has just added the world's most expensive peanut butter and jelly sandwich to its menu for a whopping $350.
Why $350? Well, the bread has edible gold in it. The peanut butter is all-natural. The honey is imported from New Zealand. The jam is a red currant from France that has been "hand-seeded using goose quills." (what that does for the flavor… I don't know, but it does make the jam uber-expensive)
If $350 is too expensive for your blood, no worries. The restaurant also offers a $5 version served on Wonder Bread…. And you probably have to remove the seeds from the jam yourself.
