Guy Sells Car, Then Steals It Back

For those who think stupid criminals only live in Florida, here’s a story from our international desk.

In Northern India, 28-year-old Manottam Tyagi sold his car for about $3500. The buyer didn’t know that Manottam hid a GPS in the car and kept his spare set of keys.

So a day after the sale, he stole the car back.

Not surprisingly, the police figured things out. They also figured out that Manottam had pulled this scam at least SEVEN TIMES over the past two years.

Even less surprisingly, he has been arrested and is facing multiple charges.
