MJ’s Fish and Chicken Express has announced via their Facebook page that a fire that started on an adjacent property has forced them to close their business, located at 716 East Enos Ave., Springfield, at least temporarily.
According to the post, a fire started in the garage behind the restaurant. When the flames spread, they damaged the roof and back wall of the business badly enough to force a closure.
The owners said they are working with their insurance company to determine their next moves.
