Some jobs just come with certain occupational hazards – like angry victims, for example.
22-year-old Elliot Scott decided he would help himself to one of the flatbed tow trucks from Chi-City Towing in Chicago. However, the owner was not keen on seeing Elliot drive off in HIS truck, so he pulled a gun on the thief.
That's when, in the middle of committing a crime, Elliot decided to call 911 to report the truck owner for pulling a gun on him
Since the cops had the vehicle’s GPS coordinates, it didn’t take them long to show up on the scene… and arrest Elliot on a whole bunch of charges, including possession of a stolen motor vehicle, theft, and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
And since Elliot was nice enough to call the police on himself, the judge went easy on him and released him until his trial.
