Sangamon County Department of Public Health (SCDPH) reported 78 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday. The number included figures from the weekend as well. 24 cases were confirmed on Saturday, 10 on Sunday, and 44 new positives on Monday.
The new cases also reflect a wide range of ages impacted by the virus, with patients as young as 3 up into the 90s.
3 new deaths were also reported, including 2 males from Brother James Court.
Currently, Sangamon County reports 2,654 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 6 hospitalizations and 561 patients in isolation.
