On Sunday, the management of Coz's Pizza and Pub, located at 4441 Ashgrove Drive in Springfield, announced via their Facebook page they would be closing temporarily after a customer who had been in for lunch last week tested positive for COVID-19

In a later post, it was announced the customer in question was in around 3 p.m. for a late lunch on Wednesday when there were only a few patrons at the pub. The bartender who served him was also tested for the virus. The results of that test were negative.

In their latest post, Coz's said their building had been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected - something that will now happen on a weekly basis- and that the restaurant will be open for business as usual starting on Tuesday, August 4.
