Since we aren't supposed to be getting together for big parties this year, I really hope your liver is up to the challenge of one and a half gallons of champagne.
Some Costco's are selling six-liter bottles of Veuve Clicquot for a whopping $830.
And I bet you are thinking, "Wow, since it's at Costco, that must be a great deal!"
Not so much.
Wine.com sells the regular 750 milliliter bottle for just $60. So if you buy eight of those, you would have roughly the same amount as the giant bottle for only $480. Your Instagram pics won't be quite as fun a they would be drinking out of a ridiculously huge bottle, but still.
By the way, so you can sound like a connoisseur to all your friends, Wine.com critic Wilford Wong describes the champagne as, "Medium straw, yellow color; complex aromas of ripe apple and light cream, excellent depth and persistence; medium bodied, active and layered on the palate; dry, medium acidity, well balanced; bright and beautiful ripe fruit and cream in the flavors; medium finish, lasting impression in the aftertaste."
