2020 has brought more than its fair share of financial hardships. Few industries have been hit harder than the restaurant industry, but that hasn't stopped some from still helping out where they can.
On Wednesday, Azca Mexican Grill used their food truck to collect 100 meals from restaurants and businesses they had partnered with. Nicolas Paz, owner of Aztca Mexican Grill, knew he was asking a lot of local restaurants but, according to Axtca's Facebook post, "Each of these businesses that responded are already struggling with keeping their doors open but yet when I asked them, they all said YES! without hesitation."
The participating restaurants were Keefner's, D'arcy's Pint, Chadito's Mexican American Grill, and Johnson And Johnson Auto Service. Cherry Hills Church then provided an additional 30 meals to give out
All 130 meals were given out Wednesday, December 9th at 1325 Adlai Stevenson Dr. in the Johnson and Johnson parking lot.
